The first nonprofit exhibition and research centre in Russia focused on constructing platforms of interaction between contemporary art and science founded in 2008. In June 2021 Laboratoria launched a new space in the West wing of the New Tretyakov Gallery. циплинарного взаимодействия современного искусства и науки. Одним из основных методов Laboratoria, основанной в 2008 году, является внедрение художников в научные лаборатории и институты, и наоборот, включение ученых в экспериментальную среду художественного контекста.

В 2021 году Laboratoria стала резидентом Государственной Третьяковской галереи и открыла новое выставочное пространство в Западном крыле Новой Третьяковки.
