Established in 1997 as the first company in Middle East to manufacture pre-painted steel and aluminum coils, UNICOIL (Universal Metal Coating Company Ltd) has made tremendous strides in the pre-painted steel coil manufacturing business in regional markets. With manufacturing facilities located in the industrial cities of Al-Jubail and Jeddah, its five process lines, with an installed capacity per annum (400,000MT for HRC Pickling, 340,000 for CRC, 250,000MT for G.I., 210,000MT for Pre-Painted steel coils production, and 15 million LM of Roll Formed Sheets), UNICOIL has come to occupy a dominant position in the MENA region. UNICOIL was established as a joint venture between two pioneers in the industry & trading in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia ; namely (Zamil Group Holding Company an Rashed Al-Rashed & Sons Group) and one of the world steel pre-painting leaders, BHP company – Australia.
