SAUDI ARABIAN BAYTUR CONSTRUCTION CO. L.L.C. was established in September 2008 by Baytur Insaat Taahhut A.S. (KSA), and Tanami Construction Co. (KSA).

The Çukurova Group is a leading Business conglomerate with its roots dating back to year 1923, coinciding with the foundation year of the Turkish Republic. The core interest areas of the groups are industry, trade media, financial services, maritime, energy, telecommunications, information technology and construction. Baytur founded in 1976,

is the construction company of that group. Taking advantage of the group support and in compliance with the group philosophy and ideals, Baytur has built its own reputation as prominent general contractor in domestic and international construction market. During the past 30 years the company successfully and steadily increased its volume of business both in Turkey and abroad. In this period, Baytur undertook and completed many prestigious projects in Turkey, Libya, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, former USSR, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, The United Arab Emirates, The Russian Federation, and Qatar. With this impressive track record, Baytur has been listed under ENR-Global top 225 contractors list since 1996. Baytur’s activity and expertise may be classified under five headings: Buildings, industrial Plants-Petroleum, water resources, transportation and infrastructure projects. Baytur’s technological expertise and quality oriented performance are acknowledged by international certification. Baytur is the first ever Turkish construction company to obtain ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification and is among the pioneers to obtain Occupational Health-Safety and Environment Management System Certificates. Baytur has completed and delivered for occupation the prestigious $202 million “Palm Jumeirah Shoreline Apartments” on the new world famous Palm Island/Dubai. The delivery has been recorded as a major achievement as it is the first project on the Island to pass the final inspection. Two towers and two high-rise buildings under two separate contractors with a total value of $326 million has also been completed in Dubai. Baytur also handed-over the $171 million “Museum of Islamic Arts” Doha Qatar, which has attracted worldwide interest with its architectural and exceptional finish. The American 2007 Roger H. Corbetta Award-Out of Country for Quality Concrete is given to Baytur in recognition of its work in the Museum. In Doha, Baytur is constructing, on design and build basis, the $750 million “Qatar Convention Center” which will be a land-mark for the country when completed. This was the largest project price-wise ever awarded to a Turkish company as main contractor without partners.
