Throughout our 50 years history the acquisition of seismic data has been at the core of ARGAS’s business. Until 2007 ARGAS specialised in the 2D and 3D land acquisition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the four year period from 2010 to 2013 ARGAS operated the world’s two largest Ocean Bottom Cable surveys in Saudi waters of the Arabian Gulf followed by another in the Partitioned Neutral Zone and finally Kuwait. ARGAS now offers clients a full range of geo-science services including non-seismic geophysical techniques such as airborne gravity and magnetic surveys. The company is dedicated to setting the highest possible standards in all areas of our business, while delivering solid, sustainable results. ARGAS Technology Center was established in 2009 to provide latest technology of
seismic data processing. Interpretation and reservoir characterization through a national and international group experts. ARGAS in 2012 has joined Dhahran Techno Valley conglomerate of companies specialized in energy related technology development activities; collaborating with resources in Academia and the regional national oil companies. The agreement stipulates establishment of ARGAS Technology center for Research and development as a center of Excellence in the field of earth sciences and advanced seismic data processing and reservoir characterization.
