Box No. 1, suggests supremacy that exemplifies the character of its founder, Mr. Rajeh Hundel Al-Marri, who conquered the challenges to be on top of the league of pipeline contractors in the eastern part of the Region. A true-blooded Saudi entrepreneur, Rajeh Al-Marrri took the challenge in 1978 against well-known multinational companies in
the region in putting up a establishment that seeks to provide employment to the locals and take advantage of the growth in the oil exploration industry. It’s an uphill battle for Mr. Rajeh as he also experienced failures in the beginning that made him more resolute in his desire to be an industry leader. Seeing the vast potential for growth ushered in by the vast oil exploration in the Kingdom, RHM started to invest in equipments and increase its manpower recruiting highly skilled and professional people from various countries but giving priority to the locals. Gradually, RHM had started getting Service Orders for flow lines, well heads and bigger size of earth-work jobs. It was in 1990 that RHM be-came a major contractor of Saudi Aramco because of its exemplary performance in the construction, development and exploration of oil wells, including the preparation of exploration location comprising of more than 100 kilometers of skid and access roads. In 1995, RHM became the first contractor to conquer the Rub Al-Khali-Shaybah area and portrayed a key role in the Shaybah Development, one of the oil-rich territories of Saudi Arabia. RHM's contribution includes the construction of over 400KM roads, 250 well pads, construction of various sizes of pipelines over 380KM, supply of fuel and sweet water to rigs and Saudi Aramco facilities and provide manpower and equipments for drilling and various earthworks
RHM then branched out to major rehabilitation and replacement works for major pipelines from 6" to 56", including hot tapping and other specialized pipeline jobs. Today, RHM has earned the respect and confidence of highly respectable Clients such as Saudi Aramco, Saline Water Conversion Corp. RHM is now managed by Mr. Rajeh’s sons who are continuing his legacy in business. Mr. Hamad Al-Marri is the President and Mr. Ali Al-Marri, holds the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). From a handful of employees, RHM now employs 4,000+ employees of different nationalities giving top priority to the Saudis in full support to the government’s Saudization program.
