Today we had a lessons learned session at Hajr 2 Expansion CCGT IPP with our subcontractors’ quality teams.

It was a good discussion where quality managers and team members shared their real site experiences what worked, what didn’t, and what we can do better next time.

One point I shared was very simple:
the quality team must be involved early, not only during inspections.
From design and procurement to construction and handover, quality should be part of the decision making process. When quality comes in late, problems are already created.

These kinds of sessions help us improve as a team and avoid repeating the same mistakes on future projects.

I’ve officially passed the Certified Construction Quality Manager (CCQM) exam from ASQ (American Society for Quality) ASQ - World Headquarters

This certification marks an important milestone in my career as a QA/QC Engineer, enhancing my skills in quality management, process improvement, and leadership within the construction industry.
