Project manager – Electrical Engineer
-In this position, you will have the opportunity to perform professional on-site construction management of 33kv, 13.8kv electrical construction projects. Your responsibilities as a Project Manager will include participating in site safety programs, quality inspections, schedule monitoring, and reporting, tracking scope and cost changes, and communicating project status with the project manager. The scope of projects varies and can include transmission line projects, substation construction projects
Additional responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
-Monitoring construction activities to maintain system reliability.
-Ensuring construction installation matches drawings and specifications.
-Attending and/or leading project meetings.
-Monitoring contractor productivity and efficiency to ensure work completed within established budgets and schedules.
-Accepting material deliveries and tracking material delivery status.
-Maintaining good communication and relationships with owners, engineers and contractors.
-Tracking project changes for scope and cost; creating Requests For Information (RFI's).
-Maintaining Project Punchlist.
-Maintaining records of past and present projects to facilitate lessons learned.
-Working with management to maintain contractor relationships for future projects.
-Required to work non-standard (evenings & weekend) hours to accommodate customers and extensive hours to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Or Equivalent Heavy Industrial/Utility Construction/Power Industry Work Experience.
-Minimum Ten (10) years of field or design experience in power substations with PRC License
-Has Knowledge in Power Transformers, Switchgears, AVC, RCP, NER, Aux Transformer, SCADA & Telecom System, Fire Protection System, HVAC, and Civil Works
-Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others on project related activities.
-Project Planning And Scheduling Skills.
-Computer skills with the ability to use application software including MS Office, AutoCAD, Primavera P6
-Valid Driver’s License
-Able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English is essential.
-Ex-abroad with Saudi Council is advantage
