About Us:
As part of our commitment to delivering complete power solutions, we are expanding our After-Sales Service Department. We are looking for a skilled Service Manager to lead the maintenance and technical support department for our power generators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Operations & Management
Oversee daily service and maintenance operations for power generators.
Plan, schedule, and allocate service tasks to technicians and engineers.
Ensure quick response to customer breakdowns, maintenance requests, and service contracts.
Monitor and improve service efficiency, turnaround time, and quality.
- Technical Expertise
Provide technical guidance and support for complex generator issues.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Conduct inspections, diagnose faults, and supervise major repairs or overhauls.
Stay up to date with the latest generator technologies and service practices.
- Team Leadership
Supervise and develop the service team (technicians, engineers, and coordinators).
Train staff on generator maintenance, diagnostics, and customer service.
Monitor performance and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Customer Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for key service clients.
Manage customer complaints and resolve escalated technical issues.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and build long-term service relationships.
Prepare service reports and communicate findings clearly to clients.
- Business & Financial Management
Manage service contracts, warranties, and annual maintenance agreements (AMCs).
Control service department budgets, expenses, and spare parts inventory.
Identify opportunities for upselling spare parts, upgrades, and service packages.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response time, downtime reduction, and customer satisfaction.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
Enforce workplace safety and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures in service operations.
Promote a culture of safety among service staff and customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven work experience in power generator mechanical/electrical departments (minimum 5 years).
- Strong knowledge of diesel and gas generator systems, engines, alternators, and control panels.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing generator sets.
- Excellent problem-solving and technical skills.
