We are proud to announce that our outstanding student Rahf El Hakeem has been selected as a Finalist in the International Greenwich Olympiad London United Kingdom (IGO) 2026 in the Scientific Research – Artificial Intelligence Category.

Her innovative project, AI Agro Guard: An AI-Powered Food Monitoring & Waste Prevention Platform, uses Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and QR code automation to predict food spoilage and help households reduce food waste. The system classifies food items as Fresh, At Risk, or Spoiled, providing real-time alerts and smart recommendations to support responsible consumption and sustainability.

On 16 May 2026, Rahf will proudly represent Sudan 🇸🇩 and present her research to a distinguished panel of judges and experts.

Aligned with SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, this project demonstrates how young innovators can harness AI to solve real-world challenges and build a more sustainable future.

We are proud to announce that our exceptional student Abdalrhman Ahmed has been selected as a Finalist in the International Greenwich Olympiad (IGO) London United Kingdom 2026 in the Scientific Research – Artificial Intelligence Category.

His groundbreaking project, AI-Based Forest Fire Early Detection Robot, combines Artificial Intelligence, robotics, and renewable energy to predict wildfire risks before they occur. The system uses multiple solar-powered robots to continuously monitor temperature, humidity, wind speed, and gas levels, helping protect forests, wildlife, and nearby communities.

On 16 May 2026, Abdalrhman will proudly represent Sudan 🇸🇩 and present his innovative research to a distinguished panel of judges and experts from Oxford , Stanford and Queen Mary University.

This project demonstrates how young innovators can harness AI to address global environmental challenges and contribute to a more sustainable future.
