The annual report, authored by a professional ACG task force, is a compilation of data and analyses on the agricultural summer season harvest amidst the ongoing-going war in Sudan. As this informed and informing report is released, ACG extends thanks and gratitude to the task force that labored hard to make this bundle of data and knowledge available to stakeholders in the international market as well as to the global knowledge and research communities at this critical moment in Sudan’s history.

Afrifarm is the field arm of the global Africorp group.

Afriarm was established in 2020 to make a paradigm shift in the traditional agricultural practices of male and female smallholder farmers in the savanna belt in Darfur, Kordofan, Sennar, Blue Nile, and Gedaref. Completing what Africorp started.

The company operates according to the concept of social economy, which all male and female farmers as partners in the production process, thereby achieving a rewarding return that contributes to the development and well-being of their communities.

كثير منكم لا يفرقون بين الصمغ العربي وصمغ اللبان ( لبان الضكر) حين أنهما يتشابهان كثيرا فيما بينهم وخصوصا من حيث الشكل والملمس فالسؤال هو "هل صمغ اللبان هو نفسه الصمغ العربي ؟"

فالصمغ العربي وصمغ اللبان كلاهما يستخرجان من الاشجار على هيئة صمغ، الا انهما يختلفان من حيث الطعم،الحجم،الرائحة وقابلية المضغ. وسنوضح لكم ذلك بمزيد من التفصيل في الاتي :

فالصمغ العربي ليس لديه طعم مميز فهو يكاد يكون عديم الطعم، أما صمغ اللبان يتميز بطعمه المر.

الصمغ العربي قطعه غير متجانسة في الحجم والشكل، فهي تتفاوت في الحجم بين قطع صغيرة وقطع كبيرة، بينما صمغ اللبان تكون قطعه نوعا ما صغيرة الحجم وشبه متجانسة وغالبا تكون في حجم حبة الفول او اكبر قليلا

الصمغ العربي عديم الرائحة سواء وهو مادة صلبة او حتى بعد إذابته، بخلاف صمغ اللبان فله رائحة مميزة

الصمغ العربي يكون صلب جدا وغير قابل للمضغ، ولكن صمغ اللبان شبه صلب ويتحول الى لبان لذا يكون قابل للمضغ في اي وقت.

وبذلك تكون إتضحت إجابة السؤال.

Arabic gum and frankincense are both extracted from trees in the form of gum, but they differ in terms of taste, size, smell, and ability to chew. We will explain this to you in more detail in the following:

Arabic gum does not have a distinctive taste, as it is almost tasteless, while frankincense is characterized by its bitter taste.

The Arabic gum pieces are heterogeneous in size and shape, they vary in size between small pieces and large pieces, while the Frankincense pieces are somewhat small in size and semi-homogeneous and are often the size of a bean or slightly larger.

Arabic gum is odorless, whether it is a solid or even after it is dissolved, unlike frankincense, which has a distinctive smell

Arabic gum is very hard and non-chewable, but frankincense is semi-solid and turns into the gum, so it is chewable at any time.

Thus, the answer to the question becomes clear.
