Every milestone starts with a vision.

In 1988, Momento took an important step forward by relocating to a purpose-built facility at Kungsvägen 68 in Flen. Designed to support production, office operations, and warehousing, the new premises created the space and capacity needed for the next chapter in the company’s journey.

1980 – From IRVATOR to Momento

Every company has defining moments. For us, 1980 was one of them.

Two years after IRVATOR was acquired by an investment group, a new name was introduced: Momento. The goal was clear – to create a stronger, more modern identity with international appeal, while building on the expertise and quality that had already earned the company a strong reputation.

The name changed, but the dedication to Swedish manufacturing excellence remained the same.

Momento History — 1951 to 1980 In 1951, Allan Söderlund founded Irvator — the beginning of what we know today as Momento. The company moved to Flen in 1953, was sold in 1978, and in 1980 the name officially became Momento.
