The Seminar Sessions are taking place at FACE HQ in Boom, Belgium – and both days are completely free of charge!

Hadestown - Brit Musical Theatre Season 2026

“We used the LumenRadio W-DMX wireless protocol. The transmitter was positioned on the side of the stage for the entire run and we never experienced any reliability issues.”

Thanks to Joshua Secular, Production Arts Student at The BRIT School, for sharing these pictures from the school’s interpretation of the hit musical, Hadestown. Joshua worked as Lighting Designer on the show.

“Our production introduced a psychiatric world undertone running through Act 1 - a cold, sparse space sitting alongside the warmth of the overworld and the industrial grip of the underworld. Three distinct worlds, each with its own colour palette, and lighting that had to shift slowly and deliberately as we moved between them.”

On the fixture side, the rig included PRG Icon Stages, Martin MAC Vipers, Robe Paintes, Clay P**y K10s and Mini-Bs, and High End Systems Hyperstars.

The BRIT School is the UK’s leading performing and creative arts school for young people and is helping shape a whole new generation of lighting designers.
