Unveiling the Universe 🌌

Qamcom has been awarded an expanded contract by the Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO), a global initiative building the world’s largest radio telescopes in Australia and South Africa.

Our task? Developing a complete subsystem for the SKA-Mid telescope in South Africa, transforming analog radio signals from space into clean, amplified digital data.

Recently, members of the Qamcom team visited SKAO in South Africa to install and implement our SPFRx123.

The film was produced at Onsala Space Observatory, Sweden's national infrastructure for radio astronomy, hosted by Chalmers University of Technology. The observatory operates radio telescopes and other instruments for astronomy and Earth sciences. Chalmers is leading Sweden’s participation in the SKA project.
