Gabriel Heyman receives the prestigious Tore Herlin medal

The yacht designer Gabriel Heyman has been awarded the prestigious Tore Herlin medal, for his achievements and contribution to yacht design and construction.

The medal was presented during a ceremony at the Svenska Kryssarklubben (SXK) premises in Stockholm by Secretary General Fredrik Norén. Gabriel Heyman becomes one of just eleven designers to receive this award since 1955.

"This prize has a special meaning to me as I have sailed boats designed by Tore Herlin in my childhood", says Gabriel Heyman.

The Ellös boat show is a true energizer. We met so many enthusiastic and smiling sailors. Lovely comments on the Heyman 42 PPH and strong emotional reactions.
One little boy said - now I understand why the queues are so long, nobody wants to leave this boat.

Welcome on board!

The Heyman 42 PPH is now in Ellös 21st to 23rd of August, for the largest sailboat show in Scandinavia - Öppet Varv.

The Norwegian magazine SEILmagasinet writes:
"The Heyman 42 PPH caused an immense stir three years ago. If you haven’t yet experienced the 42-footer, this yacht alone justifies a trip to Sweden”.

The Heyman 42 PPH, with her stunning turquoise colour, saw a steady stream of visitors at the Ancora Yacht Festival.
Weather was beautiful and spirits high. Again, we were overwhelmed by all the positive comments.
