B20 cylinder head to Magnus Nyquist.
Just realized that it’s almost 28 years since I did my first B20, still have a lot to learn 😅😉.
Min CSA 1.58 sq.inc (36mm round) valves 44/35mm. Flow@28”h2o 174cfm@8mm 197cfm@10mm & peaks around 207cfm.

Mildly ported Volvo T5, wonderful but sensitive cylinder head, needs very little material removal.
CSA@intake flange/gasket 1.92 sq.in (stock size).
CSA@ Throat 1.72 sq.in (85% of valve dia).
Valves: 32.5mm/27mm, In/Ex (+1.5mm In).

Foam in oil can lead to poor component protection and mechanical damage. Quality lubricants must be formulated to control foam.
