INTERIM REPORT Q1 2026: Ventilation Systems showed stable sales in the first quarter of the year, and the operating margin improved thanks to efficiency measures. When ventilation ducts become designer furniture🪑

As one of Sweden’s most renowned art venues Liljevalchs opens its doors to this year’s Spring Exhibition, a truly unique piece of furniture is on display. Furniture student Viktor Attermalm has designed Vent, a chair made from ventilation ducts.

“The idea for Vent emerged from an interest in materials that usually fade into the background of our environments. Ventilation ducts are an industrial material that rarely takes centre stage, despite their strong form and function. By giving the material the leading role in a chair, I want to demonstrate how design can change our perception of what we take for granted.” says Viktor.

The chair weighs just under 13 kilos, can largely be dismantled, and is unexpectedly comfortable, according to reliable Lindab sources on site. We are proud to see our products featured in one of the country’s most renowned art exhibitions!

Lindab Group CEO and President Ola Ringdahl presented at the DNB Carnegie Capital Goods Conference in Stockholm on Wednesday. He pointed out that volumes in Profile Systems will be strengthened through sales efforts, and that planning is ongoing for initiatives and efficiency measures that will make Profile Systems more profitable and stable going forward. For Ventilation Systems, efficiency measures have delivered the intended effect. Additional structural measures to increase synergies within the Group and strengthen profitability are now being implemented.

Thank you, Mats, for 50 years at Lindab! 💙

This week, we are celebrating a truly remarkable milestone:
Mats Göran Persson is retiring after an incredible 50 years at Lindab.

He started as a summer worker in 1973, welding black steel in Grevie. He has held several roles over the years before finding his long-term place in the loading area in Förslöv, where he has been a highly valued colleague since the late 1970s.

Throughout his five decades at Lindab, Mats has identified the colleagues, the sense of community and the importance of safety and quality as the things that mattered most to him. What advice does he have for new employees?
"Take challenges as they come, stay positive, and bring new perspectives."

LINDAB GROUP FULL YEAR 2025 REPORT: Adjusted operating margin increased to 6.5 percent during the fourth quarter. The largest business area Ventilation Systems achieved organic growth and increased adjusted operating profit despite currency effects.
