New release: SURE laser measuring for SEVEN X
We are launching SURE at EuroBLECH 2026 in Hannover. You can see it on our stand in Hall 11 (11-E01) until Friday 23 October.

SURE (Surface Uniformity & Radius Evaluation) is a movable laser measuring unit for SweBend PB4 plate rolls. It is an add-on for the SEVEN X CNC, so readings and corrections appear in the CNC control.

What SURE does on the machine:
▸ Finds both plate edges before rolling, which confirms the width and shows whether the plate lies in the centre of the machine.
▸ Reads the radius after each rolled section, at one position or at as many positions along the roll as the job needs.
▸ Compares the bend across the width, so a plate bent more in the middle than at the ends shows up early.
▸ Scans a straight line across the width at the start and end of the bend, and warns of barrel and hourglass shapes.
▸ Measures without touching the plate, and parks to the side of the rail when idle.

The operator keeps the final say on every correction. SURE proposes a correction on the SEVEN X screen, the operator accepts or edits it, and SEVEN X carries on rolling in the same pass.

Tougher plate and tighter radii increase the bending challenge. Our plate rolls maintain full drive torque at every speed, so your results don't change as the rolls speed up.
