To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we headed to Lofoten, Norway, for a company conference.
Fomtec would be nothing without its team. It’s the people behind everything we do – manufacturing our firefighting foams, ensuring we have high-quality raw materials, making sure orders are delivered on time, and testing our products on different fuels and in different applications.
Twenty-five years ago, one Norwegian had a dream of developing his own firefighting foam. With his knowledge and hard work, the support of a very wise and encouraging wife, and a small but dedicated team, that dream became a reality.
Over the years, the team has grown, and today John Olav Ottesen and Siri Ottesen continue to share their vision with a dedicated team – including their son, Even Ottesen, who has also been part of the business for the past six years.
Every step matters. Together, we make sure our products are safe, reliable and ready to get the job done when they are needed most.
As we celebrate 25 years, we also want to recognise all the colleagues who have been part of Fomtec’s journey over the years. Past and present, you have all contributed to making Fomtec what it is today.
