Every machine in our workshop is built with the same focus and the same hands-on craftsmanship. It doesn’t matter if it will leave our factory in our classic red or in Tyrolit black, the process behind it is identical.

Our team works with the same attention to detail on every machine. So as a customer, the only difference you’ll notice is the color. The quality is always the same.

Cross-hatching (i.e., operating the grinder in a North-to-South, then East-to-West grid pattern) is always recommended when changing grits or performing more than one pass per grit.

Cross-hatching provides more consistent refinement across the surface and helps avoid visible lines in the floor, sometimes called “cornrows.” In addition to cross-hatching, using a diagonal pattern to create a third cutting angle can further improve the refinement process.

You can choose between Tyrolit black or red Scanmaskin, same machines, same quality, same performance.
The only difference? The color.

From May 1, 2026, Scanmaskin and Scanmineral operate under the new company name Tyrolit Construction Sweden AB. For our customers, business continues as usual from Lindome! With the same products and contacts.
