Official dealer of Klaas aluminium truck and trailer cranes. Kranlyft Group has been established as a reliable partner in the lifting industry since the early ’60s. For over 40 years the company was a distributor of mobile cranes from Kato before they, since the end of the ’90s, have represented mini cranes from the market-leading Maeda. The head office is located in Mölnlycke, Sweden, and the UK subsidiary is located in Bristol. As the main distributor in Europe, Africa, Russia and the Middle East they has a well-established network of over 40 authorized dealers. Some jobs are more special than others. Helping Bristol Maritime stay safe on the water is one of the latest. 🌊

When BM Safety were carrying out steelwork on the new pier at Bristol docks, a historic M-Shed crane was used to lift Kranlyft Hire’s MC405C rental machine onto a pontoon.

BM Safety were tasked with the lift and were delighted with the fantastic collaboration between Kranlyft UK, Bristol Harbour Master and the M-Shed to complete this exciting job on the water.

Simon Cooper, Managing Director at Bristol Maritime Ltd said:

🚧When Wilgo AB was going to lift a large ventilation system onto a roof in the middle of Gothenburg, we at Kranlyft were on site to see how the new K2500 from Klaas performed in practice.
📍 Location: Magasinsgatan, one of the city's busy shopping streets within Vallgraven.
Since the street is narrow and well-visited, the job had to be done in the evening. Fraktkedjan coordinated the work, while Wilgo was responsible for the crane truck, transport of the new system and removal of the old material.
👷‍♂️ 👷‍♂️ The team on site:
Mikael Kling operated the crane from the street with a remote control, while his colleague Sonny Johansson took over the lift up on the roof, thanks to the crane's smooth dual command.
- This crane is the best option here in town, says Mikael Kling. It would have been difficult to find space for a larger truck crane or mobile crane on this narrow street. The dual command worked perfectly – I'm really pleased.
💡 The K2500's extra lighting on the boom lit up the evening sky, and several passersby stopped to watch the lift against the rainy October evening.
👉 We saw a really nice example of how the cranes from Klaas Ascheberg deliver, even in cramped and challenging conditions in an urban environment.

Gets the job done: Maeda MK3053C

NEVEU, a general construction company in France's Gironde department, recently acquired the Maeda MK3053C mini crane for a prestigious project in Bordeaux's city center. An existing building has been completely stripped and will be transformed in a prestigious w**e cellar and tasting facility over the next 12 months.
The project's challenging conditions in the heart of Bordeaux demanded a crane with exceptional capabilities. The new Maeda MK3053C proved to be the perfect solution, meeting the numerous restrictions faced by NEVEU. Its compact design, with a width of just 780mm, allows it to navigate through standard doorways, while still offering an impressive 2.98t lifting capacity and a maximum height of 16.95m

• Fully automatic 5-section pentagonal telescopic boom
• 3-section pentagonal telescopic negative angle jib
• Automatic and step-less multi outrigger settings
