Christmas is just around the corner, and this year’s Christmas party was a little different 🎄

We started the evening with dinner at the newly opened .matbar, where not-so-Christmassy shared plates with East and Southeast Asian flavours set the tone for the night. From there, we headed to .kallbadhus for a winter dip and sauna. Cold water, warm air, and good company made for a surprisingly great combination.

As the year comes to a close, we’re wrapping up another busy one. 2025 has been full of new people, projects, and plenty of learning along the way. Thanks to everyone who’s been part of it, and to those following our journey. Wishing you all a warm, joyful holiday season!

✨ Our Story, Part 1

With over 16 years of experience in the digital ecosystem, Talkative has become more than just a workplace. It’s a place where talent thrives, creativity grows, and communication is everything. Founded by Martin Lundin in 2009, Talkative was built on a vision of creating a space where communication is everything. Hence the name, Talkative.

“In my early years as a consultant, the lack of communication in many companies was impossible to ignore. I wanted to create a company where communication, both within the team and with customers and users, is a top priority. My goal was to eliminate misunderstandings and ensure a smooth, reliable work process.” says Martin Lundin.

While we love our office, we sometimes find ourselves on the move, working with clients at their locations 🚂

Being on-site allows us to explore different workplaces and get to know our clients on a deeper level. And there are more benefits about leaving our office from time to time, such as: faster decision making, closer collaborations, and more flexibility for our clients. Also, it is great fun!

It’s time for the last Talkative Summer Edition, where we post our best summer tips from our beautiful Malmö!

🐟 Check out Öresundsfiske for a fun day at sea. Öresundsfiske offers fishing tours in the southern part of the Öresund. Here you can find Atlantic cod, sea trout, herring, mackerel and many varieties of flatfish. With Limhamn harbor as point of departure, Öresundsfiske welcomes both beginner and more experienced sport fishers.

🍺 On Saturday it’s time for this summer's big beer festival in Malmö, Matverkstaden Beer Fest at Lokstallarna. This is a day with lots of different varieties of beer, street food, music and hanging out in (hopefully) the sun.

🎡 In August you can visit Malmöfestivalen – a wide-ranging festival in the heart of the city where you can experience everything from groundbreaking music, performance and culture to a variety of food that reflects the intercultural vibes and people of Malmö. The Malmö Festival takes place 11th - 18th of August. Everyone is welcome and everything is admission free!

It’s time for Talkative Summer Edition, where we post our best summer tips from our beautiful Malmö!

Malmö is called the city of parks. Enjoy the lush greenery and colourful flower-beds in Pildammsparken (the Willow Pond Park) and Slottsträdgården (the Castle Garden). Play pétanque, enjoy a picnic with family and friends or just relax.

There are other cool parks as well. You'll find great skate parks in Västra hamnen, Kroksbäck and in Sibbarp. And at Malmö Wake Park, close to the city center, you can have super fun riding at their cable track for wakeboarding.

Last but not least, don’t miss Folkets Park (the People’s Park), with restaurants, coffee shops, playgrounds, flea markets and fun activities for the whole family.

🏰The Malmöhus Castle is an exciting place for all ages. This summer you can explore the architecture and history of the Castle, and the castle yard is filled with fun games and interesting activities.

♟️Play and learn chess at Claesgatan. Kristinebergs chess club is visiting Mitt Möllan and everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to professionals. On site during the summer you will find talented tutors with a great passion for chess.

🏇This weekend it’s time for the Swedish Derby at the classic horse racecourse Jägersro. Expect two fast-paced days with high excitement. Well worth a visit!

It’s time for the first Talkative Summer Edition, where we post our best summer tips from our beautiful Malmö!

🎶Music, concerts, performances & cinemas – check out Sommarscen Malmö (Summer Stage Malmo). This outdoor festival during the whole summer has something for everyone to enjoy. And it’s free!

🚤 Malmö has a vast system of canals and bridges. Take a guided open boat tour (Rundan Sightseeing), or rent an electrical boat (GoBoat) or a pedal boat (Cityboats). Explore the canals and see the city from a whole new perspective.

☀️Visit kulimalmo.se, a site with free summer activities for children and young people. You’ll find everything from bubble ball and martial arts to knitting and fishing.
