💡 "We need a more coherent unified structure and political framework for and , across Europe, not just locally"

Today, PILA PHARMA and CEO Gustav H. Gram were part of a selected and curated group of 🧪 companies and 💰 that were invited for the Biotech Leadership Forum hosted by the Lifescience Group at Dansk Industri - DI together with - Dansk Biotek!

🌟 The programme included some great speakers CEO of Novo Nordisk Foundation, Mads Krogsgaard Thomsen and panelists Managing Director at Lundbeckfonden, Christian E. Elling, CEO at Innovation District CPH, Annemarie Munk Riis, Provost at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet - DTU, Christine Nellemann and CEO of Zealand Pharma, Adam Steensberg.

It was an interesting day to discuss our local danish, nordic and overall european frameworks - and possible/necessary improvements - for a thriving ecosystem that retains biotech and lifescience companies in Europe!

🌍 We look forward to engage and contribute further with our industry colleagues to shape a better future of biotech and lifescience in .

💬 "Beyond the Horizon: Next-Generation GLP-1's, Alternatives & the Future of Diabetes Care and Metabolic Disorders" 🌟

Earlier this week our CEO Gustav H. Gram was invited to participate on a panel debate at LSX Nordic Congress in Copenhagen, to discuss the current and future developments in therapeutics and infrastructure around , and care! 💡

The main takeaways were:

🚨 is still an issue, but with more solutions coming the opportunities for patients and clinicians will only improve and costs will likely only go one way = down! The holy grail would/could be OTC products for everyday wishing to keep overweight at bay!

🏥 There will be many of patients with obesity and co-related disorders, so a vast array of treatments will be needed whether oral, subcutaneous and targeting different pathways to give based on patient needs!

🎯 Pathways that look beyond GLP1 are increasingly in favour - where the importance on profiles and patient where especially potent anti-inflammatory agents and agents promoting "healthy" that retains more muscle mass, could be the coming wave for partnerships.

📖 AGM 2026 - the shareholders annual gathering 🌟

Earlier this week, PILA PHARMA held its annual general meeting at its offices in Malmö, an annual opportunity for shareholders to meet and discuss with management and board around the status and future of the company! 💡

It was a meeting a good turnout of shareholders, coming with some interesting questions, discussions and great mingle time afterwards! 💬 We hope more shareholders will participate in future meetings and events!

PILA PHARMA PUBLISHES ITS ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2025 📖

CEO Gustav H.Gram comments:

"2025 was a year of much activity and positive developments for PILA PHARMA. We started the year with positive developments in our dialogue with various big pharma companies who all vocalized interest in new obesity assets and found interest in our oral, small molecule antagonist.

(...)

We executed a highly oversubscribed rights issue to 293,5%, that including an oversubscription. A clear vote of interest and confidence in the Company, management and the new development plan with obesity studies, in an otherwise challenging public capital market for many.

(...) In the second half of the year, we really got the operational train in movement. We're moving forward and will target clinical "proof of concept". We're currently preparing three different clinical trial applications, with clear focus on the one in people with obesity. We will first evaluate the safety following higher doses and longer treatment in a few people with obesity. Given acceptable safety, the plan will be to enroll more participants to be able to identify possible effects on body weight, whilst also preparing other activities to keep building the data package for XEN-D0501"

: UPDATE TO PRECLINICAL RAT OBESITY STUDIES - LOW EXPOSURE OF XEN-D0501 COULD EXPLAIN LACK OF EFFECT ON BODYWEIGHT

PILA PHARMA yesterday announced that drug exposure in the obese rat studies was very low and plausibly explains the absence of an effect on body weight.
