Join us this Friday, March 23 at 4:00 p.m. for the opening of Jenny Nordberg’s . is a contemporary industrial designer exploring process and material in and outside her studio via research and experimentation. For her exhibition project at OBRA, a recently established exhibition space in Malmö, she has undertaken the task of learning to weld and will use found iron and iron-containing materials during her on-site production period at the gallery. Additional to the opening date, she will be present April 4, 6, 11, 13, 18 and 20 working on her welding skills and producing objects that will emerge throught the exhibition. We’re looking forward to experience the energy of her creative process and the outcome of her conceptual approach to the production of contemporary functional [or not] objects. Welcome!

The 1 year research project Painting Leather by designer Jenny Nordberg is launched at the exhibition "What's Your DNA?" during Dutch Design Week 2017 in Eindhoven, stand 4:16, Klokgebouw, 21-29.10.2017.

"Painting Leather is a research based project with its origin in the 18th century fake leather practice often to be found in antique furniture from this decade. Going fake is often a shortcut or a detour to achieve something seemingly unobtainable."

So happy to finally be able to share these massive glass candle holders ~ BRICK ~ designed for Swedish producer Swedish Ninja

They will be shown at London Design Fair, stand 10.6 21-24th September.

About BRICK: Nordberg's fascination for the ultra-standardised is materialised in the Bricks series. Glass bricks with the exact measurements of old traditions bricks are composed into sculptural candle holders.
