A modular approach can go beyond the structure itself.
By carrying more interior fit-out, finishes and fixtures into the factory, more of the room can be completed before it reaches site.

That means less finishing work on site, helping reduce the amount of work that needs to be carried out after the module arrives.

💡The question is no longer just how we build the module, but how much of the space we can complete before it gets to site.

🔥 Building Safety Awareness, One Step at a Time

As part of SIBS’ commitment to social responsibility and safety awareness, we were pleased to collaborate with SMK Simpang Empat and the Sungai Bakap Fire & Rescue Station during the school’s Safety Week.

The programme provided students with essential fire safety briefings and practical guidance, helping them better understand how to prevent fire-related incidents, respond during emergencies, and stay calm and prepared when faced with unexpected situations.

A meaningful safety lesson can go a long way, especially when it helps empower young people to protect themselves and others.

A sincere thank you to the Sungai Bakap Fire & Rescue Station for sharing their knowledge and expertise with the students, and to the SIBS EHS and Administration teams for their efforts, support and coordination in making this programme possible.

Together, we continue to create opportunities to promote safety, awareness and community well-being. 🤝

Strengthening Our Standards Through Continuous Improvement

On 20–21 August 2026, SIBS MY welcomed KGS Certification Sdn Bhd for our 1st Surveillance Audit of the Integrated Management System, covering:

✅ ISO 9001:2015 — Quality Management
🌱 ISO 14001:2015 — Environmental Management
🦺 ISO 45001:2018 — Occupational Health & Safety Management

The audit served as an important checkpoint to assess how our systems, processes, and practices are being applied across the organisation, from documentation to activities on site.

As international management standards continue to evolve, SIBS MY is also preparing for the transition to the latest requirements.

With the updated ISO 14001 and revised ISO 9001 standards expected by September 2026, our team is reviewing the upcoming changes and preparing our management systems to align with the latest requirements.

Beyond compliance, surveillance audits help us maintain discipline in our processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure that our management systems continue to support consistent quality, responsible environmental practices, and a safe working environment.

We appreciate the commitment and cooperation of everyone involved throughout the two-day audit. Moving forward, we will continue strengthening our practices and adapting to evolving standards as part of our commitment to continual improvement.
