I had the pleasure of working with Maria Kling .euler.art on her Myriad exhibition at Reaktorhallen last week.

The myriad exhibition explores themes of origin, contribution, inspiration and accreditation in human expression and creation, through the example of digital artworks and the software used to create them. The exhibition features 10 artworks with varying digital components, among them an ancient AI book, dance performances with wearable electronics, a drawing robot and loam, the central sculpture displaying the extended credits of all those who contributed to the software, shape or general existence of the other featured artworks and an interactive sonic experience of that information.

KI Metal Solutions fabricated a modular steel substructure for the exhibition to display said devices.

Myriad is organised by re|tread and is supported by Kulturbryggan.

🦬🦬🦬 Introducing my latest sculpture: Bison Bison Bison

The piece is a 3m tall, 5m long steel bison, constructed of salvaged scrap metal. The face detailing consists of bike chains, the “cape” aka fur is made from a massive buoy chain, and the body from gears, sprockets and brake discs. The custom substructure is fabricated with slots so it can be easily moved with a forklift. The legs and hooves are forged at my workshop.

Bison Bison Bison is now placed in its permanent home atop a hill at Borderland Land (Alversjö)

A huge thank you to all of the people and companies who donated material- please keep it coming! The bison is still a bit naked, and needs more sprockets, chains, brake disks, etc. I’d love to get it fully covered and finish it off - every little bit helps!

Last month hosted a workshop with with Uri & Maja from Berlin and - with cutoffs from 200mm pipes we freehand sculpted/welded this tree in four days. Very happy with the result!
