Biovica has received a fourth Pharma Services work order from an existing clinical-stage oncology customer developing a next-generation CDK inhibitor for solid tumors!

The expanded collaboration follows encouraging DiviTum® TKa results in an ongoing Phase I program, where TKa is used to provide insight into biological drug activity and cancer cell proliferation during treatment. DiviTum® TKa was also used as part of the customer’s IND-enabling translational biomarker activities, supporting the program’s progression into clinical development.

Three posters at ESMO Breast 2026 highlights how TKa provides a real-time view of tumor proliferation across multiple treatment settings in metastatic breast cancer!

The data span antibody drug conjugates (T-DXd), endocrine-based combinations, and chemotherapy, providing a longitudinal view of proliferation dynamics during different treatment methods.

Together, the findings illustrate how DiviTum TKa may:
• Track biological response over time
• Complement ctDNA in understanding treatment effect
• Differentiate proliferation patterns across therapies

These results further strengthen the role of TKa as a dynamic biomarker for monitoring disease activity and treatment response, with applications in both clinical practice and oncology drug development.

Yet another collaboration we are proud of has been published this time in Breast Cancer Research and Treatment! This adds to the clinical evidence for DiviTum® TKa in metastatic breast cancer.

Results from the prospective PDM-MBC study demonstrate that TKa is associated with progression-free and overall survival already at early time points. The findings indicate that TKa behaves as a continuous marker of risk, supporting further development of personalized monitoring approaches. Another important milestone for biomarker-informed cancer care.

We are excited about the strong DiviTum TKa results recently published in JCO Precision Oncology! 🎉

Results show that thymidine kinase activity (TKa) measured in blood can predict and dynamically track which patients respond to CDK4/6 inhibitor therapy in HR+/HER2‑ breast cancer. The study highlights the potential of longitudinal TKa monitoring to support treatment decisions across both metastatic and early disease settings.
