Unlike conventional propulsion systems, waterjets have no exposed propellers beneath the hull. This significantly reduces the risk of damage when operating in shallow waters or environments where debris is present.

Instead, water is drawn in and accelerated through an internal system, protecting critical components and enabling more reliable operation in challenging conditions.
