AMEU is an affiliated union of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Formerly known as Metal Industries Workers' Union (MIWU).

AMEU is an affiliated union under the Singapore National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Establised in 1981 as Metal Industries Workers' Union, the Union was rebranded as Advanced Manufacturing Employees' Union in 2021. It has about 24,000 members up to date.
