A massive shoutout to the 21 runners who ran on the National Stadium track over the weekend for the Singapore Cancer Society Relay For Life (RFL) 100KM Challenge!

Split into three teams, our colleagues pushed through a gruelling 12-hour relay to complete the 100KM together. While the heat and humidity of Singapore made every KM a mental and physical battle, we kept one thought at the forefront: the discomfort of a long-distance run is nothing compared to the journey cancer patients endure every day.

At its heart, RFL celebrates life and the courage of cancer survivors. It is a powerful reminder that when a community rallies together, we can provide the support and funding needed for change.

At Mirxes, our mission is clear: to save lives through early, actionable, and personalised diagnoses. Every KM covered by our team represents our unwavering commitment to this goal. We don’t just work in labs or offices; we are part of a global effort to change the narrative of cancer from one of fear to one of hope through early detection.

Fifteen laptops, a group of passionate youths, and a community space in Bukit Gombak. Last Monday evening was not just about hardware refurbishment, but a simple reminder of the impact technology can have when people come together with a purpose.

At , we believe our influence should extend beyond our labs and offices, reaching into the heart of the community. Alongside the Eagles Interact youth group from Bukit Gombak, tech volunteers from Mirxes rolled up their sleeves to give these laptops a second lease of life. Our key message on the ground was “Gift ‘IT’ Forward” — we are focused on digital dignity and encouraging others to do more for their communities, rather than simply passing on old equipment.

Care was taken to properly wipe, reinstall, test, and pack each unit. We wanted to ensure that when these laptops reach their new owners, they arrive not as hand-me-downs, but as tools ready to be used with confidence. This event also marked the launch of a wider Mirxes CSR initiative to refurbish and donate 100 laptops over the next six months as part of our ongoing tech refresh.

The presence of Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry and Culture, Community and Youth, and Grassroots Adviser (Bukit Gombak), added a meaningful dimension to the session. She spent time observing the team in action and spoke about how this initiative can potentially grow into more opportunities for the youths, including visits, mentorships and internships at Mirxes in the months ahead.

Perhaps the most memorable part of the evening was the spirit of “reverse mentoring”. Working alongside the youths, it became clear that the learning flowed both ways. What unfolded was not just an act of giving, but a genuine collaboration between two generations of tech-driven minds.

In the end, the value of the evening went far beyond the laptops themselves. It was about the heart — a reminder that when time and care are invested, even a small act can carry a much deeper meaning for the community we are part of.

is starting 2026 by expanding our footprint in Thailand!

We just signed a strategic partnership with N Health, a member of the Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) Group, Thailand’s largest private healthcare provider. This collaboration marks a pivotal development in our mission to democratize cancer screening in Thailand by integrating Mirxes’ world-leading microRNA (miRNA) cancer screening solutions into N Health’s nearly 60 hospitals nationwide.

Beyond our clinical expansion, we are also excited to announce the Thailand launch of FITRapid and HELICORapid, our first-of-their-kind at-home diagnostic kits, which received Thailand’s FDA approval in October and December 2025 respectively. These direct-to-consumer tools empower individuals to take charge of their health from the privacy of their own homes. FITRapid identifies f***l occult blood, a critical early indicator of colorectal polyps or cancer, while HELICORapid is designed to detect H. pylori — the strongest known risk factor for stomach cancer.

This dual-pronged strategy is essential to meeting the rising demand in Thailand’s health check-up market, which is projected to reach US$498.7 million by 2030.

Our main digital platform has undergone a significant transformation to better reflect our substantial corporate evolution in recent years. This much-awaited revamp was driven by several key goals: first, to align our site with our status as a publicly-listed company and a trustworthy partner in diagnostics; second, to better organise and communicate our expanded offerings across the full Cancer Care Continuum and diverse precision medicine solutions, showcasing capabilities beyond just miRNA; and third, to reinforce our mission, which is all about building a future without late diagnosis.

The resulting new look and feel are intentionally clean, modern, and streamlined, ensuring an intuitive user experience that clearly maps out our end-to-end capabilities for all stakeholders. It was an honour to celebrate two incredible individuals, Cheng He and Jeremy from our Tech and AI team, who received their 10-Year Long Service Awards, at our annual Christmas / Year-End gathering yesterday!

It's truly special to see such committment as Mirxes celebrates only its 11th year. Our Tech and AI team is the heart of our R&D, powering the innovation that defines us, and Cheng He and Jeremy have both been instrumental since the beginning of our journey.

During his short speech at the gathering, our Chairman, Prof Too, also reiterated why we do what we do. While growth and funding fo a biotech company are vital, our true north must remain clear: bringing accurate, accessible, and affordable tests to those in need. This mission is the bedrock of Mirxes, and it will continue to guide us beyond the IPO (just the end of the beginning for our young company). He encouraged everyone to stay ready and energised, as the next phase is going to be more exciting — not only Mirxes is equipped with more resources to make a greater impact post-IPO, the current market sentiment is also very positive with much more interest and emphasis on early diagnostics.

Congratulations again, Cheng He and Jeremy! Thank you for ten years of unwavering dedication to Mirxes and our mission. Here's to many more years of innovation and impact together!

We're incredibly excited to share about our recently announced joint venture with Xeraya Capital to establish MyRNA Diagnostics in Malaysia!

This is a massive step forward in our mission to beat cancer through early detection. Malaysia faces an escalating cancer burden, with over 60% of cases diagnosed late. Together with Xeraya, a brainchild of Khazanah Nasional, we are setting up Malaysia’s leading early cancer detection platform to address this critical unmet need.

MyRNA will focus on R&D, commercialisation, and regulatory approval for Mirxes' proven blood-based cancer screening tests, including those for high-incidence cancers like lung, colorectal, and breast.

It will also anchor a strong, localised specialty testing operation, leveraging Malaysia's vibrant biotech ecosystem to improve survival outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and expand access across the nation.

The future of early cancer detection in Malaysia is here! Together, we can make a real difference.

It is with immense pride and excitement that we announce a landmark achievement: GASTROClear™ has been approved by China's NMPA (National Medical Products Administration) as an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) product!

This is a “first” on multiple fronts:

- First non-invasive blood test approved for gastric cancer screening in China.
- ⁠First blood-based cancer screening test of any kind approved by the NMPA.

This approval is the culmination of years of rigorous clinical validation and complex regulatory navigation. It included successfully completing one of the world's largest prospective clinical trials of its kind, which enrolled 9,472 subjects across seven leading academic clinical institutions in China.

The impact is staggering: GASTROClear™ is now approved for screening the high-risk (gastric cancer) adult population aged 45 to 74 in China — an estimated eligible screening population of over 500 million people!

Mirxes is rapidly scaling up in China to meet this demand, planning to triple our sales team by 2026, expand our distribution channels, and upgrade our manufacturing facilities.

This is a game-changer for cancer screening in China and a major step forward in saving lives 💪
