Position: Site Supervisor
We are currently looking to add an energetic Site Supervisor to our team to deliver industrial concrete flooring construction projects to clients across the ASEAN region. As a Site Supervisor, your role will be to coordinate and control all physical aspects of the day-to-day working on construction projects to ensure cost, time and quality deliverables are achieved.
You will be reporting to the Works Manager, the Site Supervisor will be accountable for the progress of the site works and control of activities including QA/QC reporting, safety compliance and management of labour and plant/equipment.
Job Description:-
• Mentor and lead a team of workers.
• Arrange for deployment of workers, plant, and machinery to project sites.
• Compliance to WSHA, safe work procedure and maintain good house-keeping.
• Coordinate the works in accordance to the master and detailed construction schedules.
• Record and update to the Works Manager on daily work progress.
• Inspect of project materials delivered by suppliers to ensure conformity and arrange for testing, if required
• Carry out pre-construction and post-construction floor QA/QC checks.
• Understand and execute duties as a surveyor to level and check formwork, sub-base and measure floor flatness where required.
• Carry out daily toolbox meetings prior to commence of work to the site team.
• Organise workers to carry out the maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:-
• Sound knowledge of Singapore building and construction safety regulations.
• Preferred candidate should possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Candidate that possesses a Core Trade Supervisor (Structural) certificate would be an added advantage.
• Candidate that possesses experience in concrete construction or surveying would be an added advantage.
• Candidate that possesses a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health or WSQ Supervise Construction Work for WSH would be an added advantage.
• Min 3 years relevant experience in the related field or position.
• Must be able to work with Microsoft Office (particularly in Word and Excel).
• Willing to travel abroad.
• Proficient in English.
