Long before the groundbreaking at 12 Senoko Drive, Kemin's Asia story started modestly, from a rented office space, with a small team and a big vision for the region.

That vision took root in 1993, when R.W. and Mary Nelson broke ground at 12 Senoko Drive, planting the first seed of Kemin's journey in Asia. Built on curiosity, innovation, and a belief in people, that single step grew into a lasting commitment to serving customers and communities across the region.

As we celebrate our history, we remain inspired by the same spirit that started it all—curiosity to explore, innovate, and build what's next.

On 28 July, Kemin held a foundation-laying ceremony for its Kuriosity Centre, a new flagship facility at its Asia-Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore. Representing an investment of approximately US$35 million and supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), the four-story development marks the next phase of the company's growth in Asia-Pacific and will expand Kemin's ability to serve customers, support employees, and bring its regional capabilities closer together.

The ceremony was officiated by Dr. Chris Nelson, President and CEO, Kemin Industries, and Dr. Tan Hai Meng, President, Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health – Asia-Pacific, together with senior representatives from EDB and JTC Corporation. With the foundation laid for the Kuriosity Centre, the facility will support Kemin’s continued growth and help shape the next chapter of the company in Asia-Pacific for years to come.

While significant progress has been made in ASF prevention, human-assisted transmission remains one of the most overlooked pathways for disease spread.

Join us as we explore where biosecurity blind spots exist, how ASF can move between farms and production systems, and practical strategies to help reduce the risk of human-assisted transmission.
