🚴♂️ One Team, One Goal: AUMOVIO at OCBC Cycle 2026!
What an incredible Sunday! On 10th May, we took to the streets of Singapore for the OCBC Cycle 2026, and the energy was electric. From the 40km-Sportive Ride to the 20km-Straits Times Ride, 70 of our colleagues, spouses, and children showed up to prove that we are truly .
OCBC Cycle 2026 is the 18th edition of Singapore’s largest mass cycling event. It’s a premier sporting fixture that allows thousands of cyclists to ride on closed roads, passing iconic landmarks like the Singapore Flyer, Benjamin Sheares Bridge, and Marina Bay area.
🌑 3:30 AM: The Early Birds (40km Sportive Ride)
While most of Singapore was still dreaming, our 40km riders were already geared up at the AUMOVIO office! 🚲 Despite the pre-dawn start, the "Committed to WIN" attitude was on full display.
The road wasn't without its challenges—we faced everything from stubborn punctures to detached cranks and lost brake pads. But in true AUMOVIO team spirit, kicked in. With sheer grit and mutual support, every single rider pushed through to the finish line at the Sports Hub.
🌅 5:00 AM: Scenic Miles (20km Straits Times Ride)
Our 20km riders enjoyed a slightly more "sane" start time! By the time they hit the road at 6:30 AM, they were treated to a breathtaking Singapore sunrise. The team captured some amazing moments with the Singapore Flyer and Marina Bay as their backdrop—celebrating fitness and friendship time.
It is one of the few times a year that major expressways and city roads are completely closed to vehicles, giving cyclists a safe and unique "car-free" experience of the city skyline.
This serves as a massive team-building platform to promote healthy lifestyle and foster deeper connection among them. We look forward to seeing many more colleagues next year.
