We’re excited to welcome our Kodecoon families to a special movie night on 14 August, 7:00 PM at Golden Village, VivoCity!

Come dressed in your best superhero costume and get ready for an evening filled with fun, laughter and memorable moments. There may even be a special appearance waiting for you… 👀🕷️

This event is our little way of showing our appreciation to the families who continue to support and grow with Kodecoon. We are truly grateful for your trust, encouragement and for allowing us to be part of your child’s learning journey.

Learning becomes even more meaningful when it is shared. 💛

Through our Kode Forward initiative, Kodecoon students had the opportunity to volunteer with SHINE Children and Youth Services, bringing coding and robotics beyond the classroom.

Together, they guided the children through hands-on activities such as Roblox Game Design and Matata screenless robotics , creating a fun and supportive space to explore technology, solve problems and learn through play.

For our students, this experience was also a chance to step forward as young leaders. By sharing what they know, communicating with others and supporting each activity, they built greater confidence, empathy and responsibility.

We are grateful to SHINE Children and Youth Services for giving our students the opportunity to turn their knowledge into meaningful impact.

Because the future is not only shaped by what our students learn, but also by how they use it to uplift others. ✨

We don’t just train students to build better robots. We prepare them to perform confidently when it matters most.

At national/international competitions, we have seen months of hard work affected by one unexpected challenge: performance anxiety.

A student may understand the robot, know the strategy and have practised repeatedly but performance anxiety, time pressure or a disagreement with teammates can still affect their performance on competition day.

That is why our robotics training goes beyond technical skills.

We create realistic, high-pressure practice environments where students learn to:

⏱️ Make decisions under time constraints🧠
Stay calm when something goes wrong🤝
Communicate and resolve conflicts with teammates🔧
Adapt their strategy instead of panicking💪
Recover from mistakes and continue confidently

These moments also give our teachers valuable insights. When we notice anxiety, frustration or teamwork challenges, we bring them back into the classroom for reflection, discussion and improvement.

Because winning requires more than a strong skill set, it also requires the right mindset. But the bigger win is seeing our students grow in character, becoming more self-aware, learning from setbacks, communicating better and taking responsibility for their own improvement.

Could your child outsmart a cyber threat? 🔐💻

The National Junior Cybersecurity Olympiad (NJCO) is an online cybersecurity competition for students, organised by SIMCC in collaboration with NCL and CeNCE at the NUS School of Computing.

Through hands-on challenges and practical problem-solving, students will learn how computers, networks and digital systems are protected from cyberattacks.

During our online preparation classes, students will explore:

🔍 Network scanning
🔐 Cryptography
🌐 Web security
🕵️ Digital forensics
💻 Basic ethical hacking
🛡️ Cyberattack prevention

Beyond developing logical thinking and technical skills, NJCO also gives students meaningful competition experience to strengthen their portfolios, especially for those interested in IT, cybersecurity, computing or future EAE pathways.

Our NJCO 2026 preparation classes will be held in August, helping students strengthen their knowledge, problem-solving skills and confidence before the competition.
