AI can help us code, create, and make decisions faster. But what happens when we stop questioning its outputs?

We're bringing Dr. Wendy Tan and Mr. Kush Amerasinghe to our next AIxTech community meetup at Lorong AI for a session that challenges how tech professionals actually work with AI, and how to avoid thinking mistakes that even experienced professionals make with AI. If you ever found yourself producing more but thinking less — this session is for you.

The National AI Student Challenge (NAISC) 2026 has officially concluded! 🎉🏆

Over the past few months, students from across Singapore and the region came together to solve real-world challenges through AI. The students selected from eight tracks — AI Ready ASEAN Youth Track, Certis, Huawei, Kaplan x Salesforce, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Micron, Singtel, and Workato — and worked to develop innovative AI solutions addressing problems. Through mentorship and close collaboration with industry partners, students had the opportunity to gain valuable exposure to real-world AI applications.

The challenge culminated at the NAISC 2026 Finals during the ATxSummit: AI Student Developer Conference (AISDC) 2026, where finalist teams presented their solutions to the track stakeholders and judges. The event concluded with a prize presentation ceremony recognising the outstanding achievements, creativity, and hard work of the participating teams.

As the challenge comes to a close, we’d like to congratulate all finalists and winners for their accomplishments, and thank every student who took part in this year's challenge. Your enthusiasm, commitment, and innovative thinking is what made NAISC 2026 a successful one.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our challenge partners — Certis, Huawei Singapore, Kaplan Singapore, Micron Singapore, NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Salesforce, Singtel, and Workato — for your mentorship and industry insights that helped shape the students' learning journey.

A special thank you to Ms Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information, for gracing the prize presentation ceremony and for supporting the development of the next generation of AI talent.

NAISC 2026 not only showcased the potential of AI to address real-world challenges but also the talent of students who are ready to take on them. We look forward to seeing how these ideas continue to evolve and create impact beyond the competition. 🚀

What happens when youth leaders and industry experts come together to discuss the future of AI?

The 2nd AI Ready ASEAN National Policy Convening took place during the ATxSummit: AI Student Developer Conference (AISDC) 2026, bringing together youth leaders and experts to explore how AI will shape our industries, workplaces, and society. The convening was organised in partnership with ASEAN Foundation and supported by Google.org as part of the AI Ready ASEAN initiative.

Across three key themes — AI in Action, Future-Ready People, and Responsible Co-Creation — the youth leaders engaged in facilitated discussions on impact of AI on youth, before developing and pitching policy recommendations.

These recommendations were presented to Guest of Honour Ms Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information, as well as a panel of industry and ecosystem leaders. Through constructive feedback, candid dialogue, and the exchange of perspectives, assumptions were challenged and ideas were refined. The convening underscored the important role that youth can play in shaping Singapore's AI future.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Ms Rahayu Mahzam, our participating youth leaders, industry experts and partners for making this meaningful exchange of ideas possible.

Two days. Countless conversations. One shared passion for AI.

The ATxSummit: AI Student Developer Conference (AISDC) 2026 brought together industry leaders and aspiring AI talents for an inspiring weekend of learning, collaboration, and discovery.

From thought-provoking panel discussions to interactive booths and hands-on workshops, participants explored the latest developments in AI while gaining insights from industry experts shaping the future of the field.

AISDC 2026 also hosted the National AI Student Challenge (NAISC) 2026 Finals, where student teams from the respective tracks showcased their innovative AI solutions and celebrated their achievements at the prize presentation ceremony.

The event also marked another significant milestone with the launch of the AI for Good Alliance. Bringing together partners across government, industry, philanthropy, academia, and the community sector, the Alliance reflects a shared commitment to strengthen collaboration, catalyse action, and advance AI initiatives that create positive societal outcomes across Singapore and the region.

We were honoured to have Ms Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Health, grace the event — thank you for your support and encouragement of the next generation of AI talent.

Ms Rahayu Mahzam also joined the AI Ready ASEAN National Policy Convening, where youth leaders participated in facilitated discussions on the impact of AI on youth and society, before presenting their perspectives and engaging in a dialogue with her and other industry leaders.

A heartfelt thank you to our speakers, partners, exhibitors, participants, and everyone who contributed to making AISDC 2026 a memorable celebration of innovation, talent, and community. A special shoutout to our Platinum Sponsors — Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore, and AMD — whose support played a key role in making AISDC 2026 possible.

As AI continues to transform industries today, empowering the next generation with opportunities to learn, build, and connect remains more important than ever.

See you again at AISDC 2027!
