This morning, CPC Construction Chairman Mr. Chan Chin Peng personally distributed angpow to all workers, bringing festive blessings, warmth, and sincere appreciation to everyone on site—a meaningful highlight of the Chinese New Year celebrations. The celebration also included giving oranges, snacks, and long service awards to recognize employees for 10, and 15 years of dedicated service.

In conjunction with the festivities, a resident-driven appreciation event was held to honour the hardworking work site and town council workers who serve the community daily. The initiative, supported by the P209 team, included the distribution of ice cream treats and goodie bags to spread joy, encouragement, and festive cheer among the workers.

These simple yet meaningful gestures reflect the true spirit of community, care, and togetherness—reminding us that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Sungei Api Api Footbridge Reconstruction: The old footbridge was removed in Jun 2025 to build a more user-friendly, modern bridge, a project managed by Pasir Ris–Changi Town Council, with construction works carried out by CPC Construction Pte Ltd.

Today 29 Jan 2026, we successfully carried out the launching of the centre segment of the new footbridge across Sungei Api Api, near Elias Road / Pasir Ris St 52.

The operation involved the safe hoisting and launching of an approximately 27.0-m-long centre segment, weighing approximately 45 tonnes, using a 1200-MT mobile crane, and connecting it to the two completed end segments via splice joints. The launching was carried out from 10.00am to 12.30pm and was completed smoothly within the planned duration. The end segments had been constructed progressively from Dec 2025 to Jan 2026.

This marks a key milestone as we move closer to completing the superstructure of the modern bridge, bringing us one step closer to a safer and more accessible crossing for residents.

Hoisting and Installation of Footbridge across Sungei Api Api from 26 January 2026 to 29 January 2026.

There will be Mobilisation and Demoilisation of Heavy Machinery from the work site between Block 606 and Block 607 Elias Road. These activities are schedule to take place on 26 January 2026 and 02 February 2026, 9.30pm to 11.00pm.

Temporary lane closure will be along Elias Road between Block 601 and Block 606 Elias Road during this period.
