We are honoured to be awarded, together with China Communications Construction, the civil contract for the NS6/DE2 interchange station on the Downtown Line 2 Extension. This $450 million project, awarded by the Land Transport Authority – We Keep Your World Moving, will deliver an underground DE2 station on the Downtown Line and a connected aboveground NS6 station between Yew Tee and Kranji stations on the North‑South Line.

🏗️ Construction is expected to begin in 2Q 2026, with completion targeted for 2035. Once operational, the Downtown Line 2 Extension will enhance connectivity in the north‑west, shorten travel times, and provide better access to growth areas such as the future Sungei Kadut Eco‑District.

Golden Jubilee celebrations of Samwoh would not be completed without a memorabilia to pay homage to our 50 years of remarkable journey. After much deliberation, a drinkware comprised a mug and an uniquely designed lid was conceptualized and produced. The design intent encapsulates the essence of aesthetic, pragmatism and timeless.

More importantly, this drinkware resonates well with a Chinese proverb "饮水思源" (i.e. remember and appreciate our beginnings when we achieve success) as we drink from the mug. It serves as a reminder to all Samowhreans that this organisation was not built overnight. Our growth was paved by one generation for foundation building and another for continual transformation. Now, we have a shared responsibility to pass on this legacy to the next few generations.

At the core, this gifting is more than just an item. It captures the moment of history, evokes powerful memories and establishes a connection across different generations. The emotional tie is what drives the value and makes it matter.

Let's raise the mug and cheers to Samwoh for many more 50 years to come!

🎄 Samwoh Christmas Celebration 2025

The celebration kicked off with festive energy as five participants took the stage for the opener game. With boxes strapped to their backs and twelve ping‑pong balls inside, they shook, jumped, and danced to the rhythm of a Christmas jingle 🎶 all in a race to empty their boxes. Two winners from each round advanced to a thrilling final showdown, setting the tone for a day of laughter and cheer.

🦌 Next came Pin the Nose on Rudolf, where blindfolded teammates relied on cheers and guidance to place the red nose. The Human Memory Game kept everyone engaged, sparking laughter and friendly competition.

🎲 Then it was time for Christmas Bingo! Cards were filled, lines completed, and triumphant shouts of “Bingo!” echoed across the room as prizes were claimed.

❓ The festive fun continued with the Trivia Quiz, where 20 questions tested knowledge and quick thinking. Every correct answer brought cheers and more prizes, adding to the excitement.

🏠 Creativity shone brightly in the Gingerbread House Decorating Challenge, as six teams built sweet masterpieces that were voted on with stickers and applause.

🎶 As the celebration drew to a close, voices joined together in a heart‑warming Christmas carol sing‑along. And in true festive spirit, everyone joined hands and popped Christmas crackers 🎉 a joyful finale that captured the unity and cheer of the season.

🏆 With multiple prizes awarded and memories made, the Christmas Celebration was more than just games. It was a reminder that at Samwoh, festive joy shines brightest when celebrated together. 🌟
