Astronomy.SG Welcome to Astronomy.SG's page! We serve to update you the latest Astronomy news in SG.

Astronomy.SG is a website founded by Derek Low, an astronomy veteran - a 10-time champion in local Astronomy competitions -during the International Year of Astronomy 2009 to consolidate all the activities going on that year in one easily-navigable place. Astronomy.SG is currently managed by Tan Wei Lin, a Materials Scientist at DSO National Laboratories. Wei Lin is a strong proponent of Science ed

ucation and was a teaching assistant in Astronomy and Geology, while also leading the Women in Science and Engineering program in Brown University. Today, Astronomy interest groups and events are still thriving in Singapore, but not everyone whoโ€™s just starting out knows where to look. Whether your interests lie in star watching, telescopes, astrophysics, planetary science or satellite engineering, we strive to be the one-stop portal for all things Astronomy in Singapore. There is also a bunch of enthusiastic volunteers in the Astronomy.SG committee helping to reach out to fellow Singaporeans for Astronomy. This page serves to complement Astronomy.SG to update you latest Astronomy news in Singapore in a faster way such that you can easily access them. This page is managed by Li JiaQi, Doreen Goh, Sreemathy Parthasarathy, Ren Siyu and Nanda Wang.
