What if more of our critical power infrastructure could be built, integrated and tested before it even reaches site? ⚡
That was one of the key conversations at “Powering the Next Era of Energy Systems: What’s Next in Power Distribution and Energy Management”, organised by CHINT GROUP and Sunlight Electrical in collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic.
As projects become larger, more complex and increasingly time-sensitive, the way we deliver power infrastructure must evolve too. During the session, Mr Sung Puay Kiang, Technical Development Director, Sunlight Electrical shared how the shift from traditional on-site construction towards factory-integrated power modules can help transform project delivery — bringing greater standardisation, quality control and efficiency into the process.
Participants also had the opportunity to get closer to these technologies at the Singapore Polytechnic x CHINT Smart Electrical Power Training Lab, including Sunlight’s Power Train Unit and other prefabricated solutions, alongside intelligent monitoring and power distribution technologies from CHINT.
For Sunlight, the future is not simply about building switchboards. It is about rethinking how power systems are designed, integrated and delivered for the next generation of critical infrastructure.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon of learning and exchange. ⚡
