New research from Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, published in Cell Discovery (IF 12.5), explores SUMO2‑K11 lactylation mediated ferroptosis resistance in lung adenocarcinoma PDOs.

The study applied AntBio OrganoGel to establish patient‑derived organoid models and validated a peptide strategy to restore ferroptosis sensitivity.

Beyond angiogenesis: sFLT-1 interacts with macrophages.

A 2025 study finds soluble FLT-1 binds primary macrophages and macrophage cell lines in vitro. Binding differs based on macrophage activation states, with heparan sulfate-related interactions and potential neuropilin-1 involvement noted.
These findings raise new mechanistic questions. Clinical relevance remains unconfirmed.

The International Astrocyte School (IAS) Asia 2026 has come to an end.
This is the first Asian chapter of the global IAS program, dedicated to glial biology training and cross-border sharing for early-career scientists.
AntBio is happy to support this landmark academic event. We appreciated the opportunity to talk with researchers onsite. Our mascot Andi was a fun little highlight for visitors.
