Final validation phase⚡

The iFLEX energy assistants in Slovenia, Greece and Finland are now facing their final challenge: To demonstrate successful optimisation of domestic energy usage based on activation of signals and requests for flexibility.

In Slovenia 👉 dynamic electricity price signals and self-consumption signals are sent to households with heat pumps and solar panels

In Greece 👉 requests to shift energy use are sent to households with electric boilers

In Finland 👉 the thermal capacity of an apartment building and a supermarket is used to minimise energy consumption & cost and reduce load in the power grid

The next six months will be intense!💥

In the last phase of the project, the focus is on validating the iFLEX Assistant deployed in each pilot and on demonstrating the optimisation of the energy usage in the participating households and residential buildings, based on the activation of demand response (DR) events.
