We supplied a complete containerised nitrogen generation system N2 BOX for a 5 MW hydrogen production facility in Italy.

The integrated N2 BOX includes:
• OMEGA AIR VDA 7 screw compressor
• AAF 0076 compressed-air filtration
• RDT 75 refrigeration dryer
• TAC 70 activated carbon tower
• N-GEN 15 PSA nitrogen generator
• 4 kW high-pressure nitrogen booster
• Process cylinder bundle filling at up to 200 bar

At the centre is the N-GEN 15 that produces 4.5 m³/h of nitrogen at 99.999% purity.

The nitrogen will be used for purging and inerting equipment operating in contact with hydrogen.
The hydrogen facility is designed to produce approximately 750 tonnes of hydrogen per year, which will be used to fuel public transport vehicles in different towns in Italy.

This project demonstrates how compressed-air treatment, on-site nitrogen generation, high-pressure boosting and storage can be integrated into one complete OMEGA AIR containerised solution.

➡️ The custom pink color may be the first thing you notice, but what truly distinguishes this CNG F-DRY 800 from the rest of the dryers is its ATEX Zone 2-compliant design and stainless-steel construction.

Currently in production, this adsorption dryer is being manufactured for a biogas application at a composting plant processing biowaste, food waste and green waste.

The generated biogas contains approximately 55% CO₂ and 45% CH₄, with traces of oxygen and nitrogen. The F-DRY 800 will reduce pressure dew point from +1 to +10 °C to –50 °C at 10 barg.

At the composting plant, organic waste is converted into biogas, while the remaining digestate is used as fertiliser in agriculture. In this way, nutrients are returned to the soil and the biological cycle is closed.

The pink actuators make this F-DRY adsorption dryer more distinctive. The engineering makes it an OMEGA AIR solution

➡️ Welding is a key part of our complete in-house manufacturing process.

At OMEGA AIR, we manufacture pressure equipment from raw material to the finished product.
With separate facilities for carbon steel and stainless steel, as well as robotic MAG welding for serial production, we can manufacture both standard and custom solutions for air systems.

After welding, each product goes through hydrotesting, final assembly and quality control – all within our company.

➡️ How can a company secure a reliable nitrogen supply while reducing dependence on suppliers?
To achieve greater self-sufficiency and reduce its dependence on external nitrogen suppliers, a company based in Serbia required an on-site nitrogen production solution.
We designed and manufactured a compressor station with an OMEGA AIR N-GEN PSA nitrogen generator and a booster for a chemical industry application in Serbia, combining on-site nitrogen.

➡️ A Slovenian company specialised in the development and production of high-quality food supplements for other brands has once again placed its trust in us.

Compressed air plays an important role in their production process, where it is used for filling lines, mixing machines, packaging machines, labelling machines and capsule filling machines.

This time, they chose OMEGA AIR for the third time – for the supply of equipment for a new compressor room, designed to reliably support the further growth of their production.
The existing compressor has been retained as backup unit.

➡️ High-pressure compressed air drying for demanding offshore conditions.

Earlier this year, an oil rig docked in Aberdeen, Scotland, required a replacement for an obsolete 250 bar desiccant dryer. The challenge was clear: specify and deliver a reliable solution with minimal changes to the existing installation plan.

In cooperation with Hollingworth Design Ltd, our UK distributor HDL, OMEGA AIR supplied an HP-DRY high pressure adsorption dryer designed for continuous water vapour removal and stable pressure dew point performance.

Even with the rig’s unusual 110 V / 60 Hz power supply, the OMEGA AIR build team adapted the electrical design and prepared the unit for successful integration.

The HP-DRY 500 PN 250 24 V is built for robust performance in high-pressure compressed air systems:
• Operating pressure: 250 bar
• Pressure dew point: -40 °C
• Operating temperature: 1,5 to 50°c
• PED design code
• CE approval

We are introducing the upgraded AOK16B automatic condensate drain.

Although small, condensate drains play an important role in protecting the performance and reliability of compressed air systems.

The upgraded AOK16B automatic mechanical condensate drain is designed for fully automatic discharge of condensate and other non-aggressive fluids. It is easy to install inside the filter housing and can operate automatically, semi-automatically or manually.

With improvements related to the float and its protective cap, AOK16B supports improved robustness, internal protection and dependable operation in everyday industrial use.
