We recently had the pleasure of hosting Erasmus+ students from French universities, who are currently on exchange at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.
Accompanied by Dr. Zoran Bergant, they visited our institute, where Dr. Marko Sedlaček presented the key research and development activities carried out at our institute.
During the visit, we introduced them to the full processing chain—from steel production and heat treatment to the measurement of mechanical and chemical properties. We also highlighted advanced microstructural characterization techniques, ranging from optical microscopy to scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
The visit was an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, provide insight into modern research approaches, and inspire the next generation of engineers and researchers.
