☝️Není to vždy jen o velkém množství lešení a bednění.

U nás v SAFE CE se specializujeme na návrh a montáž bednění monolitických konstrukcí. Detail pro přesnost je tedy jedním z kličových faktorů, na kterém si my i naši zkušení tesaři zakládáme. 📐Stejně tomu tak je v tomto připadě, naši kolegové dokážou vytvořit bednění nejen v rozsáhlé ploše pro nosnou konstrukci, ale i pro menší konstrukce, jakými jsou římsy.🔨

🏗️Konstrukce bedněni pro zhotoveni říms se na běžném mostě navrhuje ze zavěšených konzol. Navržené konzoly jsou z prvkového nosníkového bednícího systému Meccano, které jsou zavěšené do předem zabetonovaných speciálnich matic skrze spínací tyč a zároveň rozepřené o spodní hranu nosné konstrukce. V prvni fázi se předmontují nosné konzoly, následně se zavěsí, pod již vybudovanou mostovku a začnou se osazovat sekundární nosníky včetně bednících desek.

A právě tehdy přichází zmiňovaný cit pro detail.

☝️It’s not always just about large volumes of scaffolding and formwork.

SAFE CE specialises in the design and assembly of formwork for monolithic structures. Attention to detail is therefore one of the key factors on which we and our experienced carpenters pride ourselves. 📐This is no different in this case; our colleagues are able to create formwork not only over large areas for superstructure, but also for smaller structures such as cornices.🔨

🏗️ On a typical bridge, the formwork structure for constructing cornices is designed using hanging brackets. The brackets are made from the Meccano modular beam formwork system; they are hung in special nuts that have been pre-cast into the concrete using a connecting rod, whilst also being braced against the bottom edge of the superstructure. In the first phase, the support brackets are pre-assembled, then hung under the already constructed bridge deck, and the installation of secondary beams, including formwork panels, begins. 👷‍♂️👍

And this is precisely where the mentioned attention to detail comes into play.

🏗️I/45 Bruntál, Eastern Bypass

As part of the construction of the new bypass of Bruntál, a city located on the border between Moravia and Silesia, SAFE is building formwork for monolithic structures—foundations, piers, superstructures, arches, wings, and cornices. 💪

SO 203 is one of four bridges being built by SAFE CE as the formwork provider. Although it may not appear so at first glance, it is a complicated arched structure with a reinforced concrete vault with an inner radius of about 3.20 m. Construction is divided into four stages, each approx. 13 m long, with movement between stages secured by wheels attached to the underside of the Meccano formwork structure. Due to the large radius of the arched structure, it was necessary to also formwork the outer side of the arch. 🚧

👉The formwork itself is constructed from paired beams from the Meccano system combined with secondary H20 wooden beams, which are supported by Polysystem props. For the final layer of formwork, 21-mm-thick plywood was used, which had to be cut and soaked on the inner sides to achieve the desired curvature. 🔨

Even with such complicated shapes, our experienced colleagues and carpenters know exactly how to handle the challenge!👷‍♂️👍

🚧Let’s return for a moment to the D11 highway. 🚧

On this section, SAFE Central Europe is involved in the construction of several bridge structures. One of them is the SO 207 bridge across the local valley, for which the general contractor is Doprastav a.s..🛣️

The bridge consists of three fields with a total length of 80 meters and a height of nearly 12 meters. Construction is taking place in two phases, each representing a separate bridge structure—the right and left bridges.

SAFE Central Europe is providing Poly temporary supports and Meccano formwork, which together enable the efficient forming of a single-beam superstructure. Our supply includes not only the materials but also professional assembly by our experienced carpenters.🔨

Every detail, formwork extension, and formwork element is precisely prepared and assembled to create an accurate, high-quality formwork surface for concrete pouring. It is precisely this focus on technical precision, high-quality assembly, and our team’s experience that forms the key to the successful completion of such complicated bridge structures.👷‍♂️👍

📍Sabinov is getting its bypass.

🛣️I/68 Sabinov is a key infrastructure project that will divert transit traffic away from the built-up areas of the town of Sabinov and the villages of Šarišské Michaľany and Orkucany in northeastern Slovakia.

Several interesting bridges are being built as part of this project. One of them is the bridge over the Telek stream valley, marked SO 207-00, which runs along the route of the newly constructed expressway. The bridge is being constructed in 9 stages, with a typical concrete pour section length of 34 m. The formwork for the two-girder superstructure is designed as movable formwork using the Meccano system, which is moved to the next pour section on wheels after each concrete pour. The formwork itself is supported by Polysystem at a height of nearly 10 m.🚧

The excellent work of our experienced carpenters and colleagues is evident in the complexity of the bridge deck’s shape and the client’s satisfaction, as all of their needs and requirements were met.👷‍♂️👍

Work at Kaplice is almost finished 🔜🏁

Several new bridges are being built on the new section of the D3 highway from the Kaplice nádraží to Nažidla in the South Bohemian Region, and SAFE is part of the project.🏗️🛣️

One of these bridges is SO 206, which crosses the Blažkovský potok as part of the new highway route. Both the left and right bridges, featuring a two-girder superstructure, stand nearly 15 meters high and are being constructed in a total of 16 phases.

We have now completed the formwork for the final phase and are awaiting the final concrete pour, which will take place in late June. This will mark the complete and successful completion and handover of the project. 👷‍♂️👍

This successful project is the result of excellent collaboration with the client, as well as the excellent work of our colleagues, who were able to design and implement formwork tailored precisely to the bridge’s shape.

🤝 We were pleased to host our colleagues from Safe Benelux here at Safe Central Europe last week.

🏗️ As part of the visit, we visited one of our biggest construction sites right now on the D11 Trutnov–State Border. Work is currently proceeding on the assembly of the second section of the support structure, which combines two systems: Polysystem (Poly) and Scafom Power System (SPS). 💪

We would like to thank our colleagues from SAFE Benelux for their visit and our team at the construction site for their excellent presentation of the project and the technical solutions used. 👷‍♂️👍

5/6 Almost done!

🚧As part of the new bypass of Častolovice, we are participating in the construction of Bridge SO 203 over the Kněžná River.

🏗️A total of 6 concrete sections of the two-beams bridge deck are being formed using the Meccano + H20 formwork system. The formwork itself is movable between individual sections, which streamlines and accelerates the construction of the supporting structure. The formwork is based on the Polysystem support structure. Of course, the construction also bridge a railway and a locall stream, which are supported by steel beams and are thus integrated into the overall structure of the supporting framework.

We are now preparing for the concrete pour of the final section, which will complete the bridge deck by the end of May this year. 👷‍♂️👍

🌏This week, as part of the introductory program, nine of our colleagues from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland visited colleagues from Safe Benelux at the headquarters in Beek en Donk.

During their stay, they get valuable insights into our internal processes, expanded their knowledge of our product portfolio, and participated in on-site tour at a construction site in Eindhoven. This experience allowed them to better understand the standards, cooperation and culture that define Safe. 👷‍♂️👍

📍31st International Symposium MOSTY/Bridges 2026

Last week, as part of the annual conference held in Brno, we had the opportunity to learn about the latest developments across the bridge engineering sector and meet with inspiring experts, business partners, and also with friends. 👷‍♂️👍

The MOSTY Symposium focuses primarily on the design, construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of road and railway bridges in the Czech Republic.

Not only scaffolding! 💪

Although most people associate SAFE company mainly with scaffolding, our team has long been involved in the assembly of complex formwork shapes as well.

Here are few photos from one of our recent projects – formwork with variable beam heights and widths, including curved sections near the cross beams.

This project concerns the bridge on the R4 road in Prešov, Slovakia – part of the city’s northern bypass.

For our carpenters, that’s no problem – it’s everyday work where precision, experience, and good coordination matter most. Each project requires an individual approach, and we enjoy technical challenges that let us showcase the full range of our capabilities.

Because where others see complex shapes and difficult solutions, we see a job well done. 👷‍♂️👍

Nejen podpěrná kosntrukce! 💪

Ačkoli si většina lidí společnost SAFE spojuje hlavně s podpěrnou skruží, náš tým se již dlouho zabývá také montáží bednění složitých tvarů.

Zde je několik fotografií z jednoho z našich nedávných projektů – bednění s proměnlivými výškami a šířkami trámů, včetně zakřivených částí v blízkosti příčníků.

Tento projekt je součástí nově budovaného úseku na silnici R4 v Prešově na Slovensku – části severního obchvatu města.

Pro naše tesaře to není žádný problém – je to každodenní práce, kde nejvíce záleží na přesnosti, zkušenostech a dobré koordinaci. Každý projekt vyžaduje individuální přístup a my rádi čelíme technickým výzvám, kde vyniknout právě naše zkušenosti a schopnosti.

Protože tam, kde ostatní vidí složité tvary a obtížná řešení, my vidíme dobře odvedenou práci. 👷‍♂️👍
