1️⃣ PR system
This means seats in Parliament will be shared fairly. If a party wins 30% of votes, they get about 30% of seats. No more “winner takes all” it’s about fair sharing.
2️⃣ 50% + 1 rule
To be president, you must win more than half of the votes. Example: if 1,000,000 people vote, you need at least 500,001. Less than that? No win.
3️⃣ 20% in 11 districts
Even if you win big in one area, you must also get at least 20% of votes in 11 districts. This makes sure leaders have support across the whole country, not just one corner.
4️⃣ Opposition walkout
Some MPs left Parliament to show they don’t agree. But Parliament still passed the changes. It’s a protest, not a block.
5️⃣ Supreme Court check
The Court will look at the new rules within three months to confirm if they fit the Constitution. So the story isn’t finished yet.
