Today, KESCO officially commenced a surveying project covering a land area of (1000m × 400m).The scope of work focuses on topographic mapping and the identification of all four boundary corners, ensuring accurate and reliable site data. Scope of Survey Work Includes:
>Capturing precise terrain elevations across the entire site
>Mapping the project area and an additional 2 meters beyond the boundary.
> Surveying the adjacent road, including elevation and width.
> Referencing all surveyed points using the UTM coordinate system.
> Preparing contour lines at 0.20 m intervals for detailed terrain representation
> Conventional Sections (flat or gentle slopes)
> Complex Sections (hills, gullies, sand layers)
>Crossing Sections (gullies / dry valleys)
• 2 extra exploration points upstream and downstream to evaluate erosion.
