The Komatsu Production Simulation(K-ProSim) Utilization Course was successfully conducted by Guest Instructors from the Mining Business Division of KLTD, supporting the expansion and promotion of this advanced solution while strengthening participants’ capabilities in data-driven fleet optimization.

Utilizing a 3D animated simulation platform, the course enabled detailed visualization and analysis of haulage systems through a “digital twin” model of the jobsite. This approach allowed Participants to evaluate multiple operational scenarios and validate solutions remotely, without having to disrupt actual site operations.

We recently conducted the Dump Truck Operator Trainer Qualification Test, welcoming two participants:
Mr. Phillip Themba Magagula from Komatsu Africa Holdings (Pty) Ltd. and Mr. Pongpon Chaiprommin from Bangkok Komatsu Sales Co., Ltd. With extensive experience as trainers, both participants brought valuable knowledge and practical expertise to this course. To establish a unified understanding and ensure the highest training standards, an Intensive Training Course was conducted during the first week prior to the qualification test in the second week.

The Intensive Course focused on Safety and Prohibited Operations, as well as Machine Operation both Actual Dump Truck and the Komatsu Dump Truck Simulator. For Instruction Skill practice, they did walk-around inspections and customer recommendations for effective machine checks and maintenance practices.
The actual qualification test consisted of three components. Both Participants passed!

Operation Skill Test (on actual Machine and Simulator)
Instruction Skill Test (Role-play)
Knowledge Test (Written Test and Video Review)

Despite the challenges of the rainy season in Thailand, both participants remained focused and committed throughout. Their strong determination ensured they passed all our evaluation criteria.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Phillip and Mr. Pongpon on successfully achieving Level 2 Qualification. Both gentlemen passed the test with excellent spirit and dedication.

We highly commend both participants for their outstanding enthusiasm, perseverance, and dedication in achieving this important milestone. Their accomplishment not only reflects their strong commitment to professional development but also serves as an inspiring example for distributor personnel pursuing qualifications across various machine types.

Smart Construction Fundamental Training was held. Through this course, they have gained extensive knowledge via Theoretical and Hands-on practices. From our Face-to-Face sessions, they practiced Equipment Setup, Installation and Basic Troubleshooting where to connect Classroom Training.

From our Face-to-Face sessions, they practiced Equipment Setup, Installation and Basic Troubleshooting where each session was designed to connect Classroom Training with Practical Usage - equipping them to Enhance Accuracy, Boost Productivity and achieve better Site Efficiency. We also complemented 3DMG Knowledge (for Hydraulic Excavator) with FLEX (for Bull Dozers) in our training content. Although sessions were often held outdoors in the intense heat, we completed the course without any injuries.

Annual Fire Drill and Evacuation Training 2026
In accordance with the Komatsu Principle of Work, widely recognized as S-L-Q-D-C, Safety remains Komatsu’s highest priority in ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all employees, participants, and visitors.
Furthermore, under Thai law - specifically the Ministerial Regulation on Standards for Administration, Management, and Implementation of Safety, Occupational Health, and Working Environment in Fire Prevention and Control (B.E. 2555/2012) under the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Act B.E. 2554 - employers are required to conduct annual fire drills and evacuation training.

In May 2026, the annual basic firefighting, fire drill, and evacuation training was successfully conducted with participation from Staff, Suppliers and even including our Course Participants.
This year’s exercise incorporated more realistic emergency scenarios to further enhance preparedness and response capabilities among all staff members and participants. Throughout the training activities, all participants demonstrated strong cooperation, discipline, and commitment to safety practices. The drill was carried out effectively, with participants clearly understanding and properly following evacuation procedures to safely relocate to designated assembly areas during emergency situations.
The successful implementation of this training also reflected the effectiveness of the Safety Orientation regularly provided to employees, participants, and visitors prior to entering our facilities.
