I wore my 100% recycled cotton flannel at a panel for Zurich Fashion Week. After a very contemplative few months since I won the Fair Fashion Award, I was excited to share my fresh thoughts with Tamy Glauser, Dario Pirovino Karen Rauschenbach Julia Dümpelmann. Thank you Swiss Fair Trade Tobias Meier for inviting me.

As a half Asian, to grace the pages of the Politics & Business section of the newspaper feels very sentimental to me. I usually hate to play the race or equality card, but in an increasingly polarising climate that our world finds ourselves in, it’s just nice to be celebrated as a Swiss father-daughter duo; even if I don’t necessarily qualify as the “quintessential” Swiss daughter. I never was and I never will be, but at least through my work with fashion and with my Zürich studio I can redefine what that means, while at the same time redefining what circularity means. Hopefully I can set an example for women and girls, not just in Switzerland but abroad, like me, to not minimise themselves and celebrate their authentic selves! 💚
