[ Level Up Process Simulate: Auto-Snapshot Using Python & .NET Script! 📸🤖 ]
For all the Automation and Digital Twin enthusiasts out there—you’re gonna love this! Today, I’m sharing an awesome workflow to supercharge your process simulation.
This time, I let an AI Agent (Claude) handle the Python coding for me, and integrated it directly into the .NET Script feature. The result? Total automation! Here is how the logic works:
1️⃣ Line Simulation Mode: We set up a light sensor named SensorSnap to detect passing parts.
2️⃣ Signal Forwarding: The moment a part triggers the sensor, it instantly forwards the signal to SnapCam.
3️⃣ Smart Trigger: Our .NET Script monitors this signal. Once the conditions are met, it automatically takes a snapshot and saves the image straight to our folder!
What's the goal? 🚀
All these auto-saved images will serve as data for a Computer Vision (CV) workflow down the road. I've already prepared the setup for advanced configurations—like Depth Camera Configuration and Color and Depth Image Alignment Options—so we can easily fine-tune them once we sync up with the CV team's future requirements.
💡 Quick Tip: Inside Process Simulate's .NET Script, you actually have two language options: C # and Python. You can pick whichever fits your workflow best!
