Big news for the PolyWorks community! InnovMetric has acquired
the intellectual property (IP) of French company Digisens, bringing onboard
its team of experts in computed tomography (CT) data processing.
An extension module is currently in development to enable CT
scanner data to be imported directly into PolyWorks.

“This is excellent news for the industry and for our users,”
says Louis-Jérôme Doyon, Vice President of Business
Development at InnovMetric. “The synergy between our respective expertise
and market positioning is ideal. In response to the growing demand
for 3D inspection of complex parts, the addition of Digisens’ specialists
strengthens our ability to offer a high-performance, fully integrated alternative.
Their reputation in the field of industrial tomography is well established,
and this union will enable us, in the short and medium term, to deliver
innovative solutions to users and manufacturers of CT-based measurement devices.”

InnovMetric has completed the acquisition of its long-standing German business partner, Duwe-3d.

Over the past 27 years, its skilled and dedicated team has earned a strong reputation among
German manufacturing companies. Duwe-3d has also developed
complementary products for PolyWorks that enable the import of measurement plans,
add automation tools, and support digital clamping processes.

“This will help us better support our customers in their digital transformation,
empowering them to maximize the use of measurement data at all stages
