บริษัท โรเยลเมทัลอินดัสทรีย์ จำกัด (RMI) ก่อตั้งเมื่อวันที่ 12 มีนาคม 2531 โดยตั้งอยู่บนถนนบางขุนเทียน เขตบางบอน บนเนื้อที่ 20 ไร่ ดำเนินธุรกิจการผลิตและจำหน่ายกุญแจลูกบิดประเภทต่างๆ ภายใต้เครื่องหมายการค้า อาร์.เอ็ม.ไอ (RMI) ด้วยการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทำให้ RMI สามารถผ่านการรับรองและได้รับครื่องหมายมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม (มอก.756-2535 : กุญแจลูกบิด) และการยอมรับโดยการผลิตและจำหน่ายต่างประเทศร
วมถึงประเทศที่มีมาตรฐานสูง เช่น ญี่ปุ่น ปัจจุบัน RMI มีพนักงานมากกว่า 200 คน และมีกำลังการผลิตมากกว่า 12,000 ชุด ต่อวัน

Royal Metal Industries Company Limited (RMI) has been operating since March 12, 1988. RMI manufactures and distributes cylindrical locks and security products under the brand, “RMI”. Currently, RMI employs more than 200 workers and has the capacity to produce more than 12,000 sets per day. With our philosophy being “continuous improvement”, RMI received the Thai Industrial Standards Certificate (TIS. 756-2535: Cylindrical Locks and Keys) and has also expanded its product lines to fulfill the increasing market need. RMI has always been the first to research, develop, and introduce innovative products to the market such as the 11-pin dimple system or the integral lock system. In local market, RMI has also gained trust of many companies in the same industry and has been producing many popular OEM brands in the market. In addition, RMI also gained recognition from overseas customers including countries with high quality standard such as Japan and has been producing and exporting Japanese OEM products for Japanese market for more than 20 years. The Japanese customers regarded RMI as “the lock and hardware manufacturer with the highest production standard in Thailand that has the capability to produce the highest quality cylindrical locks in the market.”
